The Journey to Resilience

Resiliency is not a destination but a continuous journey, marked by growth, adaptation, and perseverance. It involves navigating through life’s challenges and setbacks with the strength to not only withstand adversities but also to emerge stronger from them. Each experience, whether triumphant or difficult, adds to an individual’s or a community’s reservoir of resilience, enhancing the ability to cope with future obstacles.

Resiliency is a community effort…

Resiliency as a community effort underscores the interconnectedness and collective strength of individuals working together to overcome challenges. In a resilient community, every member plays a vital role in supporting one another, sharing resources, and fostering an environment of mutual aid and cooperation.

Shawano County and CCS Services

Shawano County offers Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) and outpatient services to support individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. The CCS program is designed to provide a wide range of individualized, community-based services that promote recovery and improve quality of life. It includes assessments, care planning, service coordination, and access to a variety of therapeutic and supportive services tailored to the unique needs of each client. Through CCS, clients can receive counseling, medication management, skills training, and peer support, among other services, all aimed at helping them achieve their personal recovery goals.

In addition to CCS, Shawano County provides outpatient services that offer flexible and accessible care for individuals seeking mental health and substance use treatment. These services include individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, and educational workshops. The outpatient model allows clients to receive the support they need while continuing to live at home and maintain their daily responsibilities.

Peer Support

Peer support is a foundational element in the recovery journey, providing individuals with lived experience the opportunity to guide, mentor, and support others facing similar challenges. This support is uniquely powerful because it is grounded in shared experiences and mutual understanding, creating a sense of camaraderie and trust that is often difficult to achieve in traditional therapeutic relationships.

Residential Treatment

CORE Treatment Services Residential Treatment Services provides a comprehensive and supportive environment for individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders. The program offers a structured setting where clients can focus entirely on their healing journey, away from external stressors and triggers. With a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals, CORE Treatment Services delivers personalized care plans that integrate evidence-based therapies, holistic approaches, and peer support.

Behavioral Health Services

Maehnowesekiyah Wellness Center provides outpatient services designed to support individuals on their journey to recovery and well-being while allowing them to maintain their daily responsibilities and routines. The center offers a range of flexible and accessible services, including individual counseling, group therapy, and educational workshops, all tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. By utilizing a holistic approach, Maehnowesekiyah Wellness Center addresses not only the physical aspects of addiction and mental health but also the emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions.
