Most people can relate to feeling tense, uncertain and perhaps fearful from time to time. At times, these worries can affect your sleep, appetite and ability to concentrate. According to the SAMHSA “Every year, approximately 200,000 men and women transition out of active-duty service and return to civilian life.
This adjustment requires Veterans and their families to reorient their lives across multiple domains including employment, finances, housing, social supports, and health. Life’s transitions are inherently stressful for all of us. They produce changes in relationships and support networks, and they challenge our identities and self-perceptions.
CORE Treatment Services was founded because we believe in hope and promise for people who want something better than the destruction of substance use disorder. People who need residential treatment – something more than a sober living facility or recovery meetings.
At CORE Treatment Services we are committed to walking alongside each person as they start their recovery journey and as they progress, we will continue by going the extra mile. We will help people find the residential and day treatment options, emotional tools, social connectedness, and employment opportunities for rebuilding their lives.

CORE can engage a community or organization in a managed service model after consulting by transitioning from an advisory role to providing ongoing business development and operational oversight.
This model involves taking responsibility for the day-to-day management and strategic operations, including the implementation of the recommended programs and services. CORE’s team works closely with local leaders to establish sustainable practices, ensuring that operational objectives are met and adapted as necessary. They provide expertise in areas such as financial management, staff training, program evaluation, and stakeholder communication, creating a structured framework that supports continuous improvement and scalability.
CORE provides consulting services to both communities and organizations by delivering tailored support that includes strategic planning, program development, capacity building, and stakeholder engagement. This approach helps communities and organizations address their unique challenges and goals. By fostering collaboration, identifying local leaders, and leveraging existing resources, CORE ensures sustainable growth and holistic well-being, enabling both entities to achieve long-term success and resilience.
Peer support involves individuals who have lived experience with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, or other life challenges providing support to others going through similar experiences.
This type of support is rooted in empathy, shared experiences, and mutual understanding, which can create a sense of community and trust that professional services alone may not provide. Peer support can take various forms, including one-on-one mentoring, support groups, and structured programs, and it focuses on promoting recovery, enhancing coping skills, and fostering a sense of empowerment and hope. This approach is often integrated into broader treatment and recovery programs to complement traditional therapeutic interventions and provide a holistic support system.
